Frequently asked questions
Got questions? I’ve got answers.
-
Therapy is for women and couples who want to feel differently in their lives, relationships, and within themselves.
Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together, showing up for others, and pushing through, but are starting to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.
This work can be especially helpful if you’re noticing patterns that keep repeating and are ready to understand them and respond differently.
If you feel like you’re always the one holding things together, or stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change, therapy can help.
Therapy may not be the best fit for situations involving crisis, active abuse, or court-mandated therapy.
-
No, it’s not required.
The free 15-minute intro call is a chance to ask any questions you have before starting therapy. It’s also an opportunity to get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
There’s no pressure to book a full session after the call.
-
You can book a session online at any time, making it easy to find a time that fits your schedule.
-
Sessions are guided by your goals and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.
Together, we’ll build a better understanding of your emotions and relationship patterns. From there, you can start to respond to them differently.
We’ll also make space for you to feel what’s coming up. This can feel uncomfortable at times, but we’ll go at a pace that feels manageable for you.
You don’t have to have the right words or know exactly where to start.
-
You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to start.
We can begin with whatever feels most present for you, even if it feels unclear or hard to put into words. I’ll help guide the conversation so we can make sense of it together.
-
That can happen, and it’s something we can work through together.
Part of my role is to help slow things down so conversations don’t escalate the way they might outside of session. We’ll focus on understanding what’s happening underneath the argument, rather than getting stuck in the same back-and-forth.
The goal isn’t to avoid conflict, but to help you move through it in a way that feels more manageable and leads to more understanding.

Part of our work is learning how to stay with what you’re feeling without it becoming too much. You won’t be pushed beyond what feels safe.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Everyone comes to therapy with different experiences, goals, and starting points.
Some people begin to notice small shifts early on, while for others it can take more time. What matters most is creating space to understand what’s going on and respond to it differently.
We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
